Almost everyone has some appreciation for flowers,but there are many that love flowers and have favorites.Some like certain colors like brights or pastels or mixed colors.
Some like a certain shape like wild flower look or modern or compact or tall and big,some like simple flowers like daisies,some like tropicals.
Some get really excited about flowers that they grew up with like peonies or lilacs that are more common to a cold winter climate and now they live in the bay area.
Some like the traditional flowers like mums and carnations,some like unusuals.
Some folks prefer plants to cut flowers and that can be green or blooming,indoor or outdoor.Recently succulents have become very popular.
And then there is every situation.For a wedding anniversary,sometimes it is nice to include some of the flowers that were used in the wedding.
It is a very pleasing experience when someone who loves flowers,receives them as a gift and more special if it is the flowers that they desire,type of flowers,color,shape,aroma,how they are arranged and presented and of course if they are and look fresh.
As for me,I was a flower magnet as a child and still am.Today I was fascinated by a cactus bush full of flowers as I drove by it and a yellow smoke bush that I walked by on the sidewalk(usually dark brown) here in Oakland.
Flowers bring so much cheer to our lives with their silent smiley faces.
