There are many factors involved in making a successful delivery.
Taking the order over the phone and understanding what the customer wants,as every situation is different.The right flowers,colors,style of the flowers,their budget,the message and how you present all of that,to make the best impression.
Once the arrangement is put together,it should be placed in the vehicle securely,so it does not tip over and the buds are not damaged and the shape of the arrangement is kept the way it leaves the shop.
Deliveries should be made in a timely manner,particularly in the case of a birthday or anniversary it should go sooner than later as it is a celebration for that day.
In the case a funeral it should be at least half hour before the start of the service to avoid the crowd.
Eventhough the element of surprise is a big part of delivery,with restricted office buildings or multi-unit buildings with a locked entry,contact needs to be made with the recipient in advance to coordinate meeting with the recipient.
Deliveries to downtown and areas that the parking is tight,it is best to send two people,so one can manage the vehicle,while the other will make the delivery.
Windows in the vehicle should not be down to avoid heavy draft and damaging the flowers.
Group the deliveries together for more efficiency with time and driving.
If the recipient is not home,with most locations,you can feel safe to porch the flowers and of course out of the weather elements.
