Art of floral arrangement

Beauty is in the eye of beholder, but there are certain rules of floral design to follow to make the flowers more attractive to most people.

Actually this topic can go on to be a whole book, but let's talk about a few more important things here.

To start you need the right container(vase,basket...) of the right shape, size, openning, color.

Then the greenery play a very important part in the design, again the right choice of leaves or fern(some of the more popular ones to name here,Lemon leaves, palm leaves,

Leather and tree fern,Sword fern,Ming fern,Italian ruscus,Irish bells) are to name a few and there are many many more and sometimes they need to be trimmed to have the right shape for your design.

Now you have the skeleton of your design ready and can start adding fillers and flowers. At this point you can add and may subtract to make it look right and better.

Which flowers go higher or lower, back or front...

Now you are designing and as your creation comes together, you enjoy looking at it and ready to give it to whoever that will love and appreciate your creation.

Of course you are limited to your selection but you do your best to choose right.

Typically the buds should not be all blown open and not super tight buds either, just starting to open and some more open so there can be instant appreciation and yet

to enjoy for many more days to come.

As any work of art, attention to detail, plays a big role and even though a piece of artwork sometimes comes together magically quickly,

usually the elements of TIME,LOVE,and ATTENTION are easy to see in a beautiful work of art.
